High efficiency surface mount antenna serves 2.4GHz applications

ANTENOVA Dolo (part number SR4W089) surface mount antenna is developed for 2.4GHz applications. Product provides high efficiency of 76% in 2.45GHz band applications, enabling data connectivity over longer ranges than a simple trace design on the host pcb. Designed to maximize range for a small product on a pcb, product utilizes a ground plane to radiate efficiently in 2.4GHz applications such as Bluetooth/BLE, WiFi (802.11a/b/g/n) and ZigBee. This surface mount component measures 7.5 x 4.0 x 0.9mm and requires a small clearance area of 7.5 x 6mm. Enhanced performance and long-range reach, antenna has an operating temperature range from -40C to 125C, with a peak gain of 3.8dBi and an average gain of -1.2dB. Maximum return loss is -10.6dB respectively, with maximum VSWR at 1.8:1.
