THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minn. – Following several distribution announcements in January, Digi-Key Corp. continued its aggressive line card expansion with the recent addition of: Digi International; Cirronet; Power Integrations; and Taiyo Yuden (U.S.A.) Inc.
Digi International Inc. manufactures ARM-based embedded modules. Digi-Key will initially be stocking Digi’s embedded modules and development kits from the Digi Connect ME, Connect EM, Connect SP, ConnectCore 7U, ConnectCore 9C and ConnectCore 9P families.
Cirronet designs and manufactures wireless data products featuring frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) technology. Cirronet was also instrumental in the development of the ZigBee standard, and provides high- and low-power OEM modules and developer’s kits that enable the creation of ZigBee products without requiring RF design expertise.
Power Integrations is a supplier of high-voltage analog integrated circuits (ICs) used in power conversion. The company’s ICs enable manufacturers to produce small, simple, energy efficient power supplies for an array of consumer and industrial electronic products.
Taiyo Yuden manufactures surface-mount and leaded passive components, Bluetooth modules, power electronics modules, power supplies, recordable optical media, ceramic chip antennas, piezoelectric speakers, filters, and baluns.
