Railway/transit dc-dc converters deliver ultra-wide input

MICROPOWER DIRECT MR4011SRU series of single output 40W dc-dc converters packaged in a compact 1 x 2 in case are specifically designed to provide the ultra-wide input range, robust performance, rugged packaging and high reliability required for railway/transit applications. Six standard models operate from wide 40Vdc to 160Vdc (110Vdc nominal) inputs, providing tightly regulated single outputs of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, 24 or 48Vdc. Standard features include line/load regulation less than 1.0%, I/O isolation of 3,000Vdc, a remote control input and efficiency as high as 91%. Devices are protected for output short circuit faults and output over current faults. All models comply with multiple industry standards including EN 62368, EN 50155 and EN 55032. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) is greater than 500khours.
