EATON Souriau 8D / MIL-DTL-38999 Series III ELIO range of fibre optic connectors have many applications for high-speed data communications in defence and commercial airborne systems. Devices have 1 – 24 contacts and can handle data speeds from Mbit/s up to several Gbit/s. Devices provide simple installation and termination of contracts, with no special tooling required. Products are made with versatile shell materials, including aluminium, composite, stainless steel and bronze. Available in a wide range of shell materials and finishes, some suitable for use in harsh environments, products are also suitable for rail and shipborne equipment and can be supplied terminated to customer requirements.
