Fuseholder’s power ratings fulfills IEC standard

SCHURTER FXP closed fuseholder comes with increased power ratings, while providing a solution to a longstanding industry challenge that involves power dissipation limitations for fuseholders used at higher operating currents and temperatures. Product sets a new benchmark in performance and versatility for 6.3×32 fuses to comply with the upcoming extension of the IEC standard 60127-6. Delivering improved thermal performance, device provides a rated current of maximum 16A to 25A. The high-performance, shock-safe device carries the 25A rating at 500Vac. Product also doubles the power acceptance rating from 4 to 8 watts at Ta +23˚C.
