METZ CONNECT RJ45 plug is suitable for direct attach applications, as it can terminate reliably to the sold wire cables, which are run through a building. Device requires no special tools to and provides up to Cat 6 performance in shielded or non-shield networks. Product’s housing and locking tab are nearly unbreakable as well. Direct Attach allows the equipment to be connected directly to the horizontal cable via an RJ45 plug. This is allowed by the standard TIA-862.
