Compact digital M8 modules deliver IP67-rating on-machine Ethernet connectivity

MOLEX Ethernet version of firm’s Brad HarshIO compact 30mm modules provide industrial fieldbus connectivity for PROFINET. Devices provide a cost-effective, IP67-rated, small form-factor for high-density machine I/O connections. Products are available in fixed and user configurable I/O versions where the PROFINET controller can configure (via GSD file) each port as an Input, Output (up to 0.5A) or Universal digital channel. Featuring an IP67-rated housing, devices protect against dust, liquid and vibration. Machine mounting saves on cabinet space and reduces wiring costs in the field.
