CMOS image sensor integrates BSI to achieve 1/1.8”
SMARTSENS SmartClarity SC4210 high-performance CMOS image sensors is a 4 megapixel image sensor based on advanced BSI (back-illuminated) pixel technology, using a 1/1.8″ optical size to deliver improved imaging quality in low illumination environments. Devices offer a large-size pixel structure and high sensitivity, while providing a 3.0μm large-size pixel structure and a 1/1.8″ optical size, with sensitivity of up to 4800mV/Lux*s and maximum signal-to-noise ratio of 43dB. Devices have ultra-low-light performance with SNR1s of 0.21 lux. With a wide, ultra-high dynamic range of over 100dB, device feature near-infrared (NIR) enhancement, which nearly doubles the quantum efficiency (QE) of the 850nm to 940nm band.
