High-speed, 9mm² circular photodiode serves electron detection

Stephen Law

OPTO DIODE AXUV63HS1 high-speed photodetector with a circular active area of 9mm diameter (typically 63 mm²), is suitable for electron detection. Device provides high-performance measurement of electrons, photons, or X-rays. Device has a typical rise time of 10nsec and a maximum dark current of 100nA, with a minimum reverse breakdown voltage of 160 Volts. Product is shipped with a cover plate to protect the photodiode chip and the wire bonds. Storage and operating temperatures range from -10°C to +40°C (ambient) and from -20°C to +80°C in nitrogen or vacuum environments.
