30-Amp integrated digital dc-dc converter optimized to power FPGA cores

ALTERA EM1130 Enpirion 30-amp PowerSoC integrated digital dc-dc step-down converter provides power management for firm’s Generation 10 FPGAs, specifically for Arria 10 and Stratix 10 FPGA core and transceiver power supply rails. Device provides dense footprint, as well as high, tight output regulation and fast transient response. These features enable FPGA-based systems to meet stringent performance, power budget and solution size requirements. Device is 50% smaller than other modules in its grade, with a 2-4% efficiency point improvement enabling customers to increase its system performance.
