Fuji Batteries Canada has introduced what it is calling the “first” ecological battery on the market in Canada. The range of Fuji EnviroMAX eco-friendly batteries are mercury, cadmium, lead, lithium and PVC free, and remains as powerful, if not more so than the competition.

Respectful of the environment, the products are composed with more than 93% of recycled and recyclable materials. The packaging is also made of recycled and recyclable materials and 100% recyclable PET plastic.

A green alternative

A household and environmental survey, conducted in 2005, states that 60% of Canadians dumped their discharged batteries to the garbage. This poses a significant threat to the environment because they contain toxic substances. The EnviroMAX batteries do not contain harmful elements for the environment and can be disposed safely because they are environmentally friendly and landfill compliant.
