Phoenix Display International (PDI) Inc. has introduced a line of 5.7″ monochrome QVGA modules, available in FSTN/gray/positive/transflective or STN/blue/negative/transmissive configurations. These graphic modules (PN G-320240-5.7) allow the user to control each pixel individually to display both text and graphics simultaneously. With a variety of options available, PDI’s 5.7″ monochrome graphic displays are modular in design and can be customized to fit specific applications. Both the STN and FSTN models are available with an RA8803 controller with built-in touchscreen controller and can be configured with either a CCFL or LED backlight. This display’s PCB can also handle a range of other options, including DC-to-DC converter, temperature compensation, on-board RAM, ribbon cable or FPC connection.
