CUSTOM MMIC CMD172 Voltage-Variable Attenuator (VVA) in die form operating from 18 to 40GHz is fabricated in GaAs with a small footprint. Device is a wideband absorptive VVA die that uses a single dc control voltage between -3V and 0V to vary the RF signal level over a 37dB dynamic range. The insertion loss of the CMD172 is only 1.6 dB. The GaAs MMIC also offers full passivation for increased reliability and moisture protection.
