Short pulse, UV fiber laser boosts peak power

COHERENT Daytona HE short pulse, UV fiber laser provides high peak power, enabling it to address a wider range of materials than previously possible. Product provides output at 355nm, produces nanosecond and shorter pulses with peak powers of >45kW (at repetition rates up to 525kHz) and high pulse energies of >70µJ (at up to 325kHz repetition rate). The highly flexible platform can be adjusted over a broad operating range to match the exact needs of a particular application. For example, pulsewidth can be adjusted from <1ns to 20ns, while repetition rate can go from single shot to over 2MHz.
