Rear covers on power entry modules boast high flame protection

SCHURTER RC320 protective rear cover series for Power Entry Modules (PEMs) are made of flame-retardant silicone rubber, flame class UL94 V-0. This flexible and durable material ensures an improved fit and is temperature resistant up to 150°C. It is also free of halogens and is RoHS and REACH compliant. PEMs, including appliance inlets and outlets, are typically open in the back. Product protects against unintentional contact with exposed live terminals. Covers protect against dust and other corrosion causing contaminants that may reduce the life of the connections.
