PULSE Ultra-thin near field communications (NFC) ferrite sheet antenna is 28% thinner than the previous version and meets the EMVCo specification of 40mm. Device enables NFC connectivity to mobile devices for payment sharing, credential storage and exchange, accessing and controlling data, and wirelessly connecting to tags. Products are 35x50x0.133mm in size and operate at a frequency of 13.56MHz. The contacts are side-by-side in the antenna area for easier implementation and to fit more compactly. The pad size is 2x2mm. The antenna’s operation is not affected by close proximity to metal or a battery.
