Miniature resettable TCO devices protect battery cells

BOURNS Model SA series surface mount Miniature Resettable Thermal Cutoff (TCO) devices are resettable. Compatible with surface mount reflow soldering methods, devices are suitable overcurrent and overtemperature protection solutions for lithium polymer and prismatic cell battery packs. Devices can be soldered directly onto printed circuit boards. The low profile devices provide a maximum height of 1.09mm, delivering current capabilities from 6A up to 11A at 60C.
