LGA socket design mounts on pcb with no soldering

IRONWOOD ELECTRONICS GTP-LGA-1003 LGA socket design uses high performance elastomer capable of 94GHz, delivering low inductance for test applications. Socket is designed for 17x17mm package size, 16×16 array, 1mm pitch and operates at bandwidths up to 94GHz with less than 1dB of insertion loss. The contact resistance is typically 30 milliohms per pin. The socket is mounted on the target pcb with hardware and no soldering. It uses very small real estate allowing capacitors/resistors to be placed close by. This socket utilizes swivel lid with heat sink compression screw. To use, place device inside the socket and apply compression by turning the heat sink screw.
