LEDs enhance consistent brightness for backlighting displays

OSRAM OPTO MicroSideled 3806 provides 15,000 hours of constant output for portable device displays and delivers high brightness levels and good color rendering without draining the batteries too quickly. Devices are efficient in white and also in blue and can withstand high temperature and high current. At the end of its rated life, it does not simply go dark. Rather, half of the light emitting diodes still provide 70 percent of their initial brightness (L70/B50).
