Flex socket delivers zero insertion force

IRONWOOD ELECTRONICS SBT-FLEX-7000 flex socket with zero insertion force addresses high performance requirements for testing flex devices. The contactor is a stamped spring pin with 31 gram actuation force per ball and cycle life of 125,000 insertions. The self inductance of the device is 0.88nH, insertion loss < 1dB at 15.7GHz and capacitance 0.097pF. The current capacity of each contactor is 4 amps at 30C temperature rise.
