Filtered inlet boasts enhanced attenuation in compact package

SCHURTER 5124  series IEC filtered inlet achieves higher attenuation than earlier iterations. Product’s performance is achieved by incorporating the latest in high-performance components while maintaining the same package dimensions. Devices are equipped with exclusive chokes that have high-permeable toroidal cores and an inductance significantly higher than that of the earlier series. The increased inductance achieves a 10dB improvement in attenuation of asymmetrical interference signals. Additionally, the enlarged X-capacitors help counter symmetrical interference. Available in screw or snap-in mounting the metal flange and snap-arms make improved contact with the chassis when mounted, optimizing filtering and shielding effects.  Devices are available with operating currents 1-10A according to IEC and 1 -15A according to UL in standard or medical low leakage versions. Rated voltage is 250Vac. The series is V-Lock power cord compatible and ENEC, CQC as well as cURus approved.
