Large design headroom and comprehensive electronic protection also contribute to device’s long operating life. Product’s rugged mechanical construction has no internal wiring, increasing its vibration-withstand capacity. Internal printed circuits are conformal coated for protection from the effects of moisture. The converters are cooled by natural convection and require no forced air. Heatsink fins are installed on the sides of the unit and internally to provide sufficient cooling for operation over a 0°C to +50°C temperature range without de-rating.
