Configurable medical power supplies require low airflow

TDK-LAMBDA XMS500 series of ac-dc power supplies are rated at 500W output power, with a Class I and Class II (no earth ground connection) construction. Products conform to curve B conducted and radiated emissions, with a 6dB margin and have a low leakage current of less than 150µA. The high operating efficiency and mechanical design enables unit to operate at full load with airflow rates of just 1m/s, reducing audible noise. Unit accepts a 90 to 264Vac input, withstanding 300Vac for five seconds and can operate in ambient temperatures of up to +70°C, derating linearly above 50°C by 2.5% per °C.
