SAMTEC HSEC8 Series Edge Rate edge card socket provides a double row design with 9 to 60 positions per row on 0,80 mm (.0315″) pitch. Firm’s Edge Rate contact system increases wear life and minimizes the effects of broadside coupling, which decreases crosstalk for superior signal integrity performance and impedance control. Vertical, pass-through, right angle or edge mount orientations are available for parallel, perpendicular and coplanar board mating. This edge card socket mates with standard 1,60 mm (.062″) thick cards as well as firm’s AcceleRate twinax cable assembly (ECDP Series) for a low cost, high speed cable-to-board solution.
