BGA socket tests high performance requirements

IRONWOOD CBT-BGA-7011 BGA socket addresses high performance requirements for testing BGA devices. The contactor is a stamped spring pin with 34 gram actuation force per ball and cycle life of 500,000 insertions. Device provides 0.9 nH self inductance, insertion loss of < 1 dB at 9.1 GHz and capacitance of 0.03pF. The current capacity of each contactor is 2.2 amps at 30C temperature rise. Socket temperature range is -55C to +155C. Socket also features a floating guide for precise ball to pin alignment.
