2W dc-dc converter delivers continuous short circuit protection

AIMTEC AM2LS-NZ series of 2-Watt power supplies provides isolation of 1500 or 3000Vdc and delivers continuous short circuit protection with auto recovery restart. Device’s restart feature will work continuously until the short circuit condition is cleared and protects the converter, the load and the converter’s input circuit from extremely high currents that can be caused by a short circuit.
