2W dc-dc converter delivers continuous short-circuit protection

AIMTEC AM2DS-NZ, 2-W series dc-dc unregulated converters provide continuous short-circuit protection with automatic recovery restart. The restart feature works continuously until the short-circuit condition is cleared protecting the converter, the load and the converter’s input circuit and source from extremely high currents caused by output short circuits. Supported input voltages are 5, 12, 15 and 24Vdc with single or dual output voltages of (±)3.3, (±)5, (±)9, (±)12, (±)15 and (±)24VDC. Device comes with input-output isolation of 1500 or 3000Vdc, operates at an ambient temperature range of -40 to +105C (derating above 85C) and is available in a compact SIP7 package (19.6 x 7.0 x 10.0mm). http://www.aimtec.com
