IRYStec wins TiEcon Canada and selected for CDL AI

IRYStec Software Inc., Montreal-based provider of perceptual display processing technology, recently won the first prize at TiEcon Canada 2017 Pitchfest and has been accepted into the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) AI program at Rotman School of Management University of Toronto for  2017-2018. 

TiEcon is the largest group of technology anchored conferences dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship world-wide.  IRYStec’s win at TiEcon Canada came with over $150,000 in prizes, an investment from TiE plus an opportunity to pitch for the grand prize at TiEcon in 2018 in Silicon Valley.  Simon Morris, CEO, commented at the conference, “Winning at TiEcon Canada is an honour as there were amazing tech companies presenting.  This event has been a great way to kick off our fund raising.”

The Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) AI program in Toronto is supported by world-class group of industry and research advisors as well as major investors who work for 9 months with promising tech start-ups from around the globe.  Tara Akhavam, CTO and co-founder, said, “We really appreciate being selected for CDL.  We expect to learn and benefit from the stellar CDL advisory board as we investigate a new application of our perceptual technology to significantly improving engagement in digital advertising market.”
