CRIQ displays cyber-physical training factory parts

Centre de recherche industrielle du Québec (CRIQ) took the opportunity to showcase the main components of its cyber-physical training factory—acquired this year from Festo Didactic—at the Salon MPA best business practices gathering held at the Palais des Congrès convention and exhibition centre in Montréal. 

The cyber-physical training factory is a fully automated production chain in which every piece of equipment is interconnected so that data can be utilized to simulate and optimize processes, as well as predict how order fulfillment will be impacted.

“We are immensely proud to provide innovative Québec manufacturers access to this experimental facility, the first of its type in Canada. We invite all companies to come and explore this truly futuristic training factory at Salon MPA,” remarked Denis Hardy, CRIQ President and CEO.

The CRIQ cyber-physical training factory is located in the very heart of the brand new Pavillon 4.0 at Salon MPA. This pavilion, dedicated to Factory 4.0 technology, provides visitors with information on initiating the 4.0 transformation. They will meet companies already headed down this path and partners to assist them in their own endeavour.
