SMALL PLASTIC ENCLOSURES

The 1591XX range is available in seven sizes from 3.4" x 2.2" x 1.4", 87 x 57 x 36mm to 8.7" x 5.9" x 2.3", 221 x 150 x 60mm. The cases are optimised for mounting horizontal PCBs; they have four stand-offs moulded into both the top and the base. The original 1591 series featured slots in all sides for mounting PCBs vertically; the updated version has plain sides, making connector installation easier. The lids, available as plain or flanged versions, fit to the base using a tongue and groove construction to give protection against dust or water.
