KYCON top mount USB 3.1 Type C connectors measure 8.4mm by 2.6mm, small enough to work in most peripheral devices. Products can handle significantly faster data rates than the standard USB 2.0 products. Devices are backward compatible with USB 3.0 and 2.0, and reduce the amount of wires needed to make devices work.
