PUI AUDIO SMT 0540 series electro-mechanical surface mount transducers are small, but provide a typical sound output of 80dBA @ 10cm, comparable to parts three times the size. Three different configurations are available, each suitable for small hand-held devices. Devices are constructed using a permanent magnet surrounding an electro-magnetic coil with a very thin metal diaphragm resting on top.
