GPS receiver module boosts position accuracy in small packages

LINX TECHNOLOGIES MediaTek MT3339-based FM Series self-contained, high-performance FM Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver modules measure 15mm by 13mm and provides fast lock times and high position accuracy even at low signal levels. Device’s low power consumption helps maximize runtimes in battery powered applications. Module can simultaneously acquire on 66 channels and track on up to 22 channels, providing standard NMEA data messages through a UART interface. A simple serial command set can be used to configure optional features.
