Ultra-precision metal film chip resistors boost reliability

KOA SPEER RN73R series metal film chip resistors boost reliability, meeting the demanding requirements of high heat and high moisture applications. Devices provide improved electrolytic corrosion resistance and high stability compared to firm’s existing RN73 thin film resistors. Devices improve heat tolerance with an operational temperature range of -55°C ~ +155°C and a rated ambient temperature of +85°C, as well as improved moisture tolerance of 85% for 1,000 hours at 85°C. Power ratings and sizes for devices are 0.063W (0402), 0.1W(0603), 0.125W (0805), and 0.25W (1206) with a resistance range of 10 ~ 1.5MΩ, resistance tolerances ranging from ±0.05% ~ ±1% and T.C.R.s of ±5, ±10, ±25, ±50 and ±100ppm/°C.
