Watertight (NEMA 4X), UV resistant polycarbonate products provide high impact resistance, as they will not dent, rust, crack or bloom like steel or fiberglass. Firm’s polycarbonate weighs considerably less and is easier to modify than its metal or fiberglass counterparts, saving resources while increasing productivity. Products are molded in firm’s Wi-Fi friendly polycarbonate, a robust all-weather plastic that is radio-translucent. The free transmission of radio waves eliminates the need for an external antenna.
