Two-colour sandwich photodiodes measure optical temps

OSI OPTOELECTRONICS Two-Colour Sandwich Detectors are specially designed for optical remote temperature measurements. Series of dual-sandwich detectors includes an uncooled silicon-silicon detector and an uncooled silicon-InGaAs detector, plus the recently introduced silicon-InGaAs photodiode with a two-stage thermoelectric cooler (TEC). Devices are highly resilient to volatile environmental conditions and maintain precise measurements across a broad temperature range. The compact, low noise, hermetically sealed TO packaged devices are manufactured for photovoltaic operation with no bias, however, they can be biased to the maximum reverse voltage specified, if needed.
