Step down converter, inductor, capacitors come in compact package

WURTH ELEKTRONIK MagI³C-VDMM Variable Step Down MicroModule delivers high power density, very few external components and improved electromagnetic compatibility. Compact device comes with variable output voltage in a LGA-6EP package (dimensions 3.2 × 2.5 × 1.6mm). The input voltage range VIN extends from 2.75 to 5.5Vdc. So the new dc-dc converter can be operated on a 5V or 3.3V bus. VOUT of the power module with integrated inductor and capacitors ranges from 0.6 to 5.5V. Highly efficient module delivers an output current up to 600 mA and can replace linear controllers. Power module is suitable for powering interfaces, microcontrollers, microprocessors, DSPs and FPGAs.
