SMSC EMC230x fan speed controller family delivers thermal management in systems requiring as few as one fan or as many as five fans. Product addresses the thermal management needs of larger systems that have become more complicated and the effects of overlapping thermal zones are preventing fan controllers with integrated thermal management from functioning effectively. Product line consists of four additional devices (EMC2301, EMC2302, EMC2303 and EMC2305).
