C&K COMPONENTS CCM01 and CCM02 Series of smart card connectors that provide PCI and PCI-ready security features, provide additional accessories that are integrated on the connector in order to prevent unauthorized access to the data contacts and to detect any connection attempt. Devices provide a sealed, normally-open card detection switch and a card guide with a chamfered opening in the card entry slot to improve the card guidance. Maximum card insertion force is 40N and contact force ranges from 0.20N to 0.5N. Minimum (EMV compatible) mechanical life for the 8-contact and PCI ready CCM01 Series connector is 500,000 cycles.
