Simplified backshell eliminates need for thread locking screws

TE CONNECTIVITY Backshell for DMC-MD single module connectors provides a cost-saving addition to firm’s existing DEUTSCH DMC-MD single module series product line. Product’s design is hermaphroditic (identical halves) and includes two stainless steel self-tapping screws, which eliminates the need for thread locking screws. Product’s design enhances the gripping action on the back of the connector for ease in both mating and unmating of the connector and can be positioned on both the plug and extender receptacle. Device is fully compatible with standard aerospace-qualified DMC-MD single series connectors.
