Shielded power inductor lowers resistance, boosts saturation current

BOURNS Model SRP0xxx series of shielded power inductor now includes 11 new models of low resistance, high saturation current models. Featuring a low profile (less than 2 mm), devices have a metal alloy powder core and flat wire construction that provides a range of benefits including low copper loss, dc resistance and audible core noise, as well as high current saturation. This type of shielded construction also produces low magnetic radiation offering good EMI performance and enhanced temperature stability.
