Shielded connector optimizes performance through 18GHz

BOMAR V-Bite RF edgeboard connectors include a bottom-shielded female Type N part suitable for higher-power applications. The threaded RF device (part number 161VUS504EFT) provides a bottom shield to help eliminate inductance by shielding the open bottom of the connector. Device provides high manufacturing tolerances to ensure consistent performance characteristics through 18 GHz, and is to be soldered directly to the PC board’s bottom ground layer.
