Lemo M series connectors were originally created for the extreme environment of automobile racing, where strong and lightweight materials must perform consistently to overcome vibrations and G-forces that can un-mate connectors or cause intermittent contact. These light, small and strong devices withstand high temperature and humidity, while preventing penetration of oil based liquids. Connectors provide 2 to 114 pins in the smallest shell sizes with an IP68 protection index and a triple start, anti-vibration ratchet coupling mechanism. Products come with option of threaded back-ends to accommodate MIL-DTL-38999L backshells and conduit fittings. Connectors have passed the testing for EIA 364 and MIL-STD 810 for lightening strike, vibration, environmental, EMI shielding and flammability requirements.
