PUI AUDIO Line of piezo benders range in size from 10mm to 41mm – used to produce sound, as well as pick-up sounds, vibrations and pressure. Device is a Piezo ceramic crystal that is coated with silver on both sides, glued to a brass, nickel alloy or stainless steel disk. Product requires an alternating current to produce sound. When force is applied to the disk a voltage is produced, thus allowing the bender to be used very effectively as a switch. It is very sturdy, long lasting device that can accept a lot of punishment, if properly mounted.
