MEMS capacitive accelerometers deliver shock, vibration measurements

Silicon Designs Models 2260 and 2266 single axis MEMS capacitive accelerometers provide accurate and precise shock and vibration measurements within industrial and other zero-to-medium frequency instrumentation applications. Available in eight standard ranges from ±2g to ±400g, both product families combine durability, quality and flexibility with an industry-best-in-class noise specification. Each device provides high-drive, low-impedance outputs, supporting up to 2000 feet of cable; as well as two analog voltage outputs, which vary with acceleration.
