FRABA POSITAL MDW high-performance linear measurement device is suitable for industrial and medical equipment positioning applications. Unit combines a high-precision magnetic rotary encoder with a robust draw-wire mechanism to provide a measurement range of up to 2m at a resolution of 35m (1.3×10-3 inch). Device is built around a multi-turn absolute magnetic encoder that uses a Hall-effect sensor to measure angular displacements. There are no internal electrical contacts.
