Machine monitoring boosts machine tool productivity

MEMEX AUTOMATION MERLIN (Manufacturing Enterprise Real-time Lean Information Network) monitors every machine in your plant – CNC machines, non-CNC machines, fabrication centers and manual processes, all tied together in a production Manufacturing Execution System. To create connectivity from the shop floor to the top floor, product uses various machine protocols (MTConnect, Fanuc Focas2, OPC, etc.) and electronic circuit boards including the Universal Machine Interface board, depending on the type of machine being monitored. For older machines, firm provides electronic circuit boards with built-in Ethernet capabilities and conversion to serial RS-232.
