SIGMA COMPONENTS FDK Corp. extends its DK Series with three new non-isolated, point-of-load (POL) dc-dc converters that operate from a 3.0Vdc to 5.5Vdc input bus. The small, low profile surface mount devices deliver up to 3, 4, and 6Amps of output current with efficiencies up to 94%. They provide a tightly regulated programmable output voltage in the range of 0.8Vdc to 3.465Vdc and deliver the full rated output current with no derating in ambient temperatures up to 85C under natural convection.
