Lead-free SMD fuse thwarts tin whiskers and dendrites

SCHURTER MGA range of 1206 SMD ceramic fuses includes a COTS+ version for aviation applications. Products are completely lead-free and protect against the formation of tin whiskers and dendrites. Device has ultra-robust thin-film construction, hermetic seal and an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125 °C. Device is cURus approved for 0.2 A – 5 A, with a particularly high breaking capacity of up to 300 A at 125Vdc for currents up to 3A; 32Vdc for 4 and 5A versions. Humidity and moisture tested to MIL STD 202, device is also shock and vibration tested to IEC 60068-2. Packaging is 100 pieces in bags, or 750, 3K or 10K tape and reel.
