MELEXIS MLX90517 automotive-qualified inductive resolver ICs are suitable for e-motor applications (power steering, traction motor, brake booster), while complementing the MLX90510 by providing raw signals to enable off-chip compensation in the ECU. MLX90517 ensures accuracy of better than ±0.36° at up to 660,000 e-rpm without the need of any IC programming. Device works in combination with a set of pcb based coils. Arrangements can be easily adapted in line with the number of pole-pairs of the motor.
